Today i decided to try the customize workout option on the biggest looser game. You can play with or without a wii board (from wii fit) I have the board so i used it.
I was able to go thru each category, cardio, uppper body, lower body, core, and yoga, and i selected what exercises i wanted to do from each one.
I selected:
jumping jacks,
butt kicks
floating lunges,
side steps,
plank on knees
pushups on knees
hip extension
the game is very good at sensing your movements. there was a slight pause as the game went from exercise to exercise on your custom routine and you dont get as many comments from the trainers.
i decided to continue my workout with a Challenge
i selected the high flier challenge.
You do standing mountain climbers to make your MII crawl across a wire over the swimming pool at the mansion. When you reach the end you then do wood chops to hit a mark and release balloons.
I enjoyed this one but in this challenge you take on everyone so i did it 5 times and i still have 5 rounds to go. that was a bit much for me tonight so i paused and did a quick cool down.
a standard cool down on this game is 8 mins. i didnt have 8 mins tonight so i did a custom yoga routine with the warrior pose, deep breathing and downward facing dog, which i always find a bit difficult since i tend to have sweaty hands. maybe its time to invest in one of those wii fit board covers.
